The results
Three times the articles, in a fraction of the time.
2–4 hours → 10–20 min
Owner's time per article
Drafting, proofreading, fact-checking, and the featured image used to be hers. Now she reviews and approves.
4 → 12
Articles a month
Twelve is an intentional limit, not the system's ceiling.
3x
Content output
With less of the owner's time than one article used to take.
The problem
Every article took hours of the owner's time.
Each article meant hours of drafting, proofreading, fact-checking, and making a featured image: 2 to 4 hours a page. At that pace she could publish about 4 a month.
Her time was better spent on clients and students, but she didn't want generic AI writing. She has firm house rules, like citing every statistic and using only real stories.
What I built
How the AI content automation works.
The workflow lives in Airtable, so every article has a status and the owner always knows what's waiting for her.
- A queue of topics. A content queue in Airtable where each article starts as a topic.
- A draft in her voice. Claude drafts the article from a saved guide to the owner's voice and business details.
- A separate quality pass. A second check reviews the draft against her house rules, such as citing every statistic and using only real stories.
- A featured image. The featured image is created from the matching Canva template.
- Ready for review. The finished article is marked ready, and she approves it instead of writing it.
The stack
Automated blog writing on tools she already knew.
Airtable
The content queue and status for every article, from topic to approved.
Claude
Drafts each article from her voice guide, then runs the quality pass.
Canva
Featured images from her own brand templates.
Google Docs
Where drafts are kept for her review.
How it stays trustworthy
Her name is on it, so she approves every word.
- Her voice, written down. Claude works from a saved guide to how she writes and what her business offers.
- House rules, checked. A separate pass checks every draft for cited statistics and real stories only.
- Nothing publishes on its own. Every article waits for her review and approval.
- Volume on purpose. Twelve articles a month is a deliberate limit, and it can change any time.
Good questions
Frequently asked questions.
What is AI content automation?
AI content automation is a workflow where AI handles the repeatable steps of publishing, such as drafting, fact-checking, and making images, while a person picks the topics and approves what goes out. For this training academy, it cut the owner's time per article from 2 to 4 hours to 10 to 20 minutes.
How do you automate blog content creation with AI?
Each article starts as a topic in an Airtable queue. Claude drafts it from a saved guide to the owner's voice, a separate pass checks the draft against her house rules, Canva makes the featured image from a template, and the finished article is marked ready for her review.
Will AI content automation sound like the business owner?
It is built to. Every draft starts from a saved guide to the owner's voice and business details, a quality pass checks it against her house rules, and she reads and approves each article before it is published.
Can AI content automation follow fact-checking rules?
Yes. In this workflow, a separate quality pass checks each draft against the owner's house rules, such as citing every statistic and using only real stories, before the article reaches her for approval.
Why use Airtable for an AI content workflow?
Airtable works well as the queue for an AI content workflow because every article is a record with a status, from topic to approved, so the owner always knows what is waiting for her. Timebender builds around the tools a business already uses, so it isn't always Airtable.
How many blog posts can AI content automation produce?
More than most owners want to review. This training academy went from 4 articles a month to 12, and 12 is a deliberate limit, not the workflow's ceiling.
